{"id":29842,"date":"2021-06-15T19:53:51","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T17:53:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/allavellilegal.com\/?p=29842"},"modified":"2024-09-16T16:31:25","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T14:31:25","slug":"eu-green-certificate-at-the-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allavellilegal.com\/blog\/en\/eu-green-certificate-at-the-start\/","title":{"rendered":"EU Green Certificate at the start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32021R0953&amp;from=EN\">Regulation (EU) 2021\/953 of June 14, 2021<\/a><\/strong>containing the discipline of the new Green Certificate has been published in today&#8217;s Official Journal.<\/p>\n<p>The EU Digital COVID Certificate will facilitate safe free movement of citizens in the EU and it will become available in all EU Member States as of <strong>1 July 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>An EU Digital COVID Certificate is a <strong>free of charge digital proof<\/strong> that a person has either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>been <strong>vaccinated<\/strong> against COVID-19<\/li>\n<li>received a <strong>negative test<\/strong> result or<\/li>\n<li><strong>recovered<\/strong> from COVID-19<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>National authorities are in charge of issuing the certificate.<\/p>\n<p>The digital version can be stored on a mobile device.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens can also request a paper version.<\/p>\n<p>Both will have a <strong>QR code<\/strong> that contains essential information, as well as a digital signature to make sure the certificate is authentic.<\/p>\n<p>Member States have agreed on a <strong>common design<\/strong> that can be used for the electronic and paper versions to facilitate the recognition.<\/p>\n<p>The EU Digital COVID Certificate should facilitate free movement inside the EU.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It will not be a pre-condition to free movement, which is a fundamental right in the EU.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; TheRegulation (EU) 2021\/953 of June 14, 2021containing the discipline of the new Green Certificate has been published in today&#8217;s Official Journal.
